Are you constantly nagging your kids to do their chores, clean up their room, or get all their stuff off the kitchen counter fortheloveofallthingsgoodandholy? You're not alone.
Here's a secret: developmentally, this is a big ask of kids. They can't keep information in their heads the way adults can, and they need reminders of their responsibilities.
Our viral Kids' Room Reset was the inspiration for a big set of "Chores, Step-by-Step," taking big chores — like cleaning a room or prepping for tomorrow — and breaking them down into smaller and more manageable steps, so they're set up for success and actually know how to clean their room.
This bundle includes our chores set and a pack of five "Chores, Step-by-Step" along with an extra task board to use with a specific chore.

Our products are developed by humans (with science degrees!) and hand drawn by our founder.
Just started using the chores with the magnetic chore chart and magnets + stickers, and it has been amazing. I have really enjoyed the visuals and the easy way it can help keep track of tasks, so I can reduce the executive decision making. My only critique might be that the number of stickers/variety felt a bit overwhelming initially where there were some that felt a bit duplicative
So helpful for my ADHD family!
It gets the chaos out of my brain and onto the chart. Helpful to see how much there is and how my spouse can help.
Not sure the value is there for the price point. This should cost a fraction of what it does.
Hi Meghan,
Oh no! First off, I am really sorry that you haven't seen the value in what we've created. I would really love the opportunity to reframe this a bit.
Not all products are created equal, and if you look beyond the physical product itself, you can see that our system is a lot more complicated than it might look at first glance.
Value is created when real research meets creativity meets good design. Our products are based on deep research, years of learning, and real ingenuity. You might be able to find a kids' routine chart at the Dollar Tree, but you will not see the same functionality in the way it actually WORKS. Every aspect of Mighty and Bright's system is intentional, from the reusable stickers, to the clicking noise the magnets make, to the places the charts can hang. It's like comparing a reality TV show to Game of Thrones. They're both TV, but they're in completely different leagues, because a LOT goes on behind the scenes.
This also comes with different costs than a retailer like the Dollar Tree. Our dedication to quality, listening to our customers, and constantly improving takes a lot of time, which costs money. And it's worth it! This is why our product actually WORKS to solve the problem of invisible labor (in addition to being a high quality product). It has a real, proven impact.
As a small business owner, it's really hard to operate a business in a time where the biggest companies are often taking a loss on their products or shipping costs due to abusive business practices, sheer size, or private equity investments. We've seen the results of practices like this when companies like Joann Fabrics first put small retailers out of business, and then go under themselves. They do this to gain your business, because they know companies like mine can't compete. It's not sustainable, and it's not ethical.
While I would love to offer lower prices on everything I've created, I unfortunately don't have the buying power (or frankly, the ethics) of companies like Walmart. I pay a living wage to my small team and I am committed to ethical manufacturing. We also prioritize our charitable program, which donates thousands of dollars in products every year to foster kids, kids with cancer, and more.
I can totally understand why you want the most value possible for every dollar you spend. I do too! I hope all of this makes sense and sheds more light on why what we create has the price tag it does.

I got these stickers to use on my Mixbook calendar to help my toddler (and me!) know what outing we’re doing each day. Sadly, they don’t stick on the calendar, but I just roll up a little piece of tape to stick them up there. My toddler likes helping plan our week, looks forward to the different activities we’re going to be doing, and is less likely to fight me on going places because it’s on the calendar, haha. I love the designs, this was the only thing like this I could find! I might upgrade to the full daily planning system as he gets more independent on tasks!
I use these for my children and homeschooling and they're great! My children mark when they're done and I can easily see what it is that I need to check.
They worked so well that I bought the family/weekly system and that has taken the biggest load off of me. I tried what felt like 8.2 million different systems and my family never paid attention to it. At least with these magnets and pictures they know what's going on (but they still don't know when...so if this could be made with space to write the time it's happening...I'd pay for it immediately!) and that is a lot more helpful than all the other systems I've used.
Great
This has been great modeling for my young one and gives us a way to both make sure we are checking off tasks.
This system has been great for our family! I keep finding more items to order. It’s so much fun and helps us all stay organized!
This system has been working so well for my kids that I decided to buy more for my husband and me to have our daily chores on a centralized checklist. Our family has been having fun creating our schedules and checklists with the cute reusable stickers and magnets. Such a great system! I highly recommend!
